Samuel Chukwueze was born in Ikwuano,Umuahia,Abia state of Nigeria on the 22 of December,1999,to a father,who is a minister of God and a mother,who is a professional nurse. He was the first child in a family of three children.
Chukwueze delved into soccer as a kid,when he played for the Future Hope ‘Under-8’ and ‘Under-10’ categories,before moving to New Generation Academy. From there,he later journeyed to Diamond Academy.
Later on,he would feature for the Nigerian Golden Eaglets ‘Under-17’ team,where they featured at the 2015 FIFA ‘Under-17’ World Cup,which the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria eventually won,with Chukwueze winning the Bronze boot. After a spectacular performance at the World Cup,he moved to Spain,where he signed with La Liga giant,FC Villarreal in 2017.
For the 2017-18 season,he featured for their second team,before he was eventually promoted to the senior team a season later in 2018. His debut game came during a tier in the 2018-19 Europa League against Rangers Football Club of Scotland.
Chukwueze also represented the Nigerian national team ,the Super Eagles,at the 2019 AFCON,which Nigeria however,clinched the third place.0
Chukwueze scored his first goal for the senior side of Villarreal,on the 30th of May,2018 in a victorious match against Athletic Bilbao.
